Ambury Farm Trip

Two weeks ago Rooms 1, 5, 6, and 28 went to Ambury Farm.  We had so much fun touching and feeding all the different animals.  For some of us it was the first time to touch a cow!!  They are so soft.  Here we are at the farm.

Beans, Beans, Beans

We have been growing our own broad bean plants.  Here are some photos of them growing from day one to now.  They have grown soooooooooooooo much taller!!

Today we are going to take them home as they have grown tooo tall. 

Junior Sports Afternoon

Last Tuesday we had Year 0, 1 and 2 sports afternoon.  It was so much fun and we really did try our very best at all the different sports.  We had tag relays, egg and spoon races, wheelbarrow races, sprints, sack races and even long jump.

More spelling in action

On Tuesday, after our spelling test we practised our new words using the mini whiteboards, playdough and magnetic letters.

Whanau Morning last Friday

A massive thank you to the Mums, Dads, Poppas, Grandmas and family friends who came to visit their lovely children to see what wonderful learning they have been doing.

The children had so much fun talking about their learning and showing you all which activities they like to play during reading and maths time.

Magnetic Spelling

Today Hina, Anton and Deziyah tried out a new reading activity by using the magnetic letters to spell out this week's spelling words.

Dinosaurs Dinosaurs

Today we made dinosaur cookies with Room 1 as we have been learning about them for the last two weeks.

Some of us ended up with blue mouths!!!  hehe
