Letter of the Week - Dd

Flat McKenzie is on her way home

We have had Flat McKenzie in our classroom for the last 3 weeks, all the way from Canada!

McKenzie is a flat child that has come to us from Hornby Island School in Vancover, Canada.  We have taken her to lots of different places around our school and to some of our learning activities.

Here are some photos of her and us.

She is being sent back to Canada today with the photos, New Zealand stickers and a brochure about New Zealand.  I hope she makes it back to her classroom safetly.  Its a long way from New Zealand to Canada.

Big thanks to Mrs Apter and her class in Canada.  They only have 30 children in their whole school and 17 kids in their classroom aged between Year 5- 8.

Safe Travels McKenzie  :0
