Junior Sports Afternoon

Last Tuesday we had Year 0, 1 and 2 sports afternoon.  It was so much fun and we really did try our very best at all the different sports.  We had tag relays, egg and spoon races, wheelbarrow races, sprints, sack races and even long jump.

Here are some photos of the day.

What do we think??

We have been working on reflecting on our learning. How does using the ipads help with my learning?  How did Reading Eggs help me with my reading and understanding?

Here Likent and Max talk about their learning.  Well done boys!

More spelling in action

On Tuesday, after our spelling test we practised our new words using the mini whiteboards, playdough and magnetic letters.

Here are some photos the children took on the ipads.

Whanau Morning last Friday

A massive thank you to the Mums, Dads, Poppas, Grandmas and family friends who came to visit their lovely children to see what wonderful learning they have been doing.

The children had so much fun talking about their learning and showing you all which activities they like to play during reading and maths time.

Yoghurt Pots

If you have any small yoghurt pots, we would love if they could come to school.
We would like to plant some beans!

Thank you for your help.

Magnetic Spelling

Today Hina, Anton and Deziyah tried out a new reading activity by using the magnetic letters to spell out this week's spelling words.

Dinosaurs Dinosaurs

Today we made dinosaur cookies with Room 1 as we have been learning about them for the last two weeks.

Some of us ended up with blue mouths!!!  hehe
