Spelling Words

Hi Mums, Dads and Caregivers, All the Year Ones in our class are starting to learn spelling words each week. They will get 5 or 2 on a Monday to learn, in their notebooks. Then the following Monday we will have a written spelling test. If you have time, the children can practise their words aloud, writing them down, spell out in playdough, write them using different colours or maybe using magnetic letter on the fridge! We have 3 spelling groups - Tahi ( 5 words ) Rua ( 5 words ) and Toru ( 2 words) Your child knows which group they are in. Thank you Miss Stonestreet
